Stevie: This next song is a song that we found in 2010 on YouTube - of course - that we lost somewhere in the beginning of the 1970s. Um, Lindsey and I are not quite in agreement on when this song was written. I personally think that the poem was written before we moved to Los Angeles or right after we moved to Los Angeles in 1970. It is, um - We think it was going to go on Buckingham Nicks II, because when the first record got dumped, we started writing songs for our second Buckingham Nicks record and this seems to be the song that got lost. And really lost. We never found it. It was gone. And so even though I hate computers, in this one case I am actually so happy that somebody put it down because otherwise it would’ve been lost forever. And it really is the story of Lindsey and I in the very beginning when everything was great, and we were crazy and in love and nuts and beautiful and it was all, you know - So anyway, this is a song that I like to remember to tell everybody that these are the voices and the phrasings that Mick Fleetwood heard when he first heard us, and this is why, this is really, this song really kind of tells it all, why he asked us to join Fleetwood Mac. And so it was a very, very, very big deal. So it’s called - I know, I’m rambling - It’s called ‘Without You’.
